Natural Earth & Mineral Pigments are beautifully archival, eco-friendly, and sustainably-harvested from around the world. They contain no added fillers, additives, preservatives, stabilizers, or heavy metals, are completely non-toxic making them safe for you and the planet.

Each natural pigment has a different set of characteristics, such as liquid absorption, volume, tinting strength, and granulation. Because of these characteristics, they each require a different volume of binder to create the desired paint consistency. You can use our Organic walnut oil to make the finest quality, odourless oil paints or use a natural binder like gum Arabic for watercolour, acrylic or gouache.

Pigments are refilled with a zerowaste ethos using biodegradable bags, reused brown paper bags/pouches or reused jars from a local coffee shop Pigments are now available to buy in larger quantities of 454g, along with Gum Arabic a natural binder, natural impasto to lengthen your paints and an Eco Gesso kit.
